Dear John so far.

So far Dear John has been a very descriptive book. I really like the way the author had John describe himself and his life to me the reader. The way he is described is like every other teenage boy, his life is harder than most but he has a good head on his shoulders and is able to take care of him self in a way that some people would not be able to. I didn’t get much reading in this past week so that’s about all that I can state my opinion on so far but hopefully I will be able to read some more and share my input.

Not Going So Well

First French Kiss seemed like the kind of book that I wanted to read, it was a real life true story, I thought it was going to be about a troubled life or just problems that had happened in his life and how he over came them. It is just a story about pointless things. I found this story very confusing to follow and very boring, but yet I still wanted to read more to see if it was going to get better, but it never did.

I am now starting to read Dear John, I am really kind of excited to read this because I saw the movie recently and it had a good story to it. The movie how ever was weak but I have heard reviews of the book and all of them have been good. A strong review that I was going with is Jessie McTavish’s review. She said she cried and could not put the book down so I am pumped to start it.

First French Kiss

This book that I am just staring to read is a different kind of book; I have never read one like it. It is about the life of the author himself. He was always the type of author that wanted to write a book that really touched the lives of people and books that really meant something; he wanted to inspire the reader. When he couldn’t think of something that he felt very deeply about he got the idea from his mom and his brother to write a book about his life and him growing up. So far the book starts off with his childhood and about girls and the “fights” him and his brother have, so far to me he has had an average life that any ordinary kid has and goes through.
